HOW TO REGISTER:

Registration should be made on-line through the congress website. Exceptionally, if you face any problem in registering on-line, please contact the Congress Secretariat (registrations@iucr2017.org) who will send you a pdf file for manual registration.

*Only students or post-docs aged 35 or younger (born on or after 1 January 1982) are eligible for the student rate. Please show your institutional photo-ID card or an authorization letter certifying your student status at the registration counter, to collect your badge. In case a student is unable to establish such proof (s)he will be asked to pay the difference and register as a participant.
**To benefit from the early bird registration fee, payment must be made before 31 May, 2017. Otherwise the full registration fee of INR 50,000 will be applied.
***The banquet will be held in the HITEX area, adjacent to HICC, on 27 August, 2017.

Note: Retired crystallographers and scientists, over 80 years, who are not actively involved in teaching and research, should write to registrations@iucr2017.org in order to avail of a special reduced rate of registration of ₹15,000. This would give them all the benefits that are available to regular registered participants.

Registration Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations must be notified in writing to registrations@iucr2017.org
  • Any name change will be treated as a cancellation and a new registration will be required at applicable fee.
  • Cancellations made before 15 May, 2017 will be eligible for full refund minus the bank transaction charges and applicable taxes and an administrative fee of ₹500.
  • Cancellations made between 16 May and 30 June, 2017 will be refunded 50% of the total amount of registration minus the bank transaction charges and applicable taxes.
  • No refunds will be made for cancellations made after 1 July, 2017 or for registered participants who fail to attend.
  • Corresponding refunds will be made from 15 September, 2017 onwards.

Once you have been registered, if you need to enquire, change, add information, or cancel your registration please contact the Registration Secretariat, indicating your registration number. Changes, additions, or cancellations must be notified in writing to the Registration Secretariat to registrations@iucr2017.org

Deadline for Payment of Registration Fees at “Early Bird” rate: 6 June, 2017.

Online Payment: You may pay online via VISA or MASTERCARD by using the Access key that will be emailed to you after you fill the online Contact Details form. Use your access key to login to the Command Panel.

Bank Transfer: Only Registration and Banquet fees should be paid for by Bank Transfer to the State bank of India, details below.
Attendees making a bank transfer should first calculate the equivalent amount of their registration fee in US Dollars, using their banks exchange rate on the day of the transfer. The payment should be in US dollars.

Please note the following:

  • Please do not forget to include the following reference in the bank transfer “IUCR 2017 REGISTRATION FEE”, as well as the database ID & name of the participant.
  • All bank charges incurred will be borne by the payee.
  • Participants intending to pay by bank transfer should first alert the secretariat by email to registrations@iucr2017.org The Secretariat will require a copy of the bank transfer document to identify the payee.
  • No confirmation will be sent until the registration secretariat has received the full payment.
  • Any difference arising in the payments will be collected on site by the registration secretariat.
  • In the case that registration funds are wired late or for unexpected reasons, are not credited to the Congress account at the time of registration, the original bank receipt will be required. If no proof of payment can be presented, full payment will be required on site.
  • Additional requests made after 10 August, 2017 will be processed on site.
